Cervical
Cervical cancer begins in the lining of the cervix. Cervical cancer is not considered a fast-growing cancer. It usually takes several years to develop.
Each year, it is estimated that more than 10,00 women will be diagnosed with cervical cancer. In the past, cervical cancer was one of the most common causes of cancer death for American women. However, over the last 50 years, deaths have declined significantly, thanks in part to the use of the Pap test. When found and treated early, cervical cancer often can be cured.
At the John Stoddard Cancer Center, we will be here for you through every step of your battle with cervical cancer. Using our extensive experience dealing with every stage of this disease, our cutting-edge treatments, and vast resources, we will do everything we can to help.
