Pediatric Radiation Oncology

The team of compassionate professionals at the John Stoddard Cancer Center continually provides the highest levels of excellence and family centered care for children with both malignant and benign lesions. Located next to Blank Children's Hospital, the radiation oncology department collaborates with Blank Children's physicians and staff to bring a team approach to care.

Special pediatric treatment devices are used to deliver SRS, IMRT and 3D conformal radiation therapy to patients of all ages and sizes. When children are consulted in the clinic, family education and attention to special needs are routine. Physicians as well as therapists make sure that trust and friendship are established to help alleviate the anxiety of technology.
